“I thought that the nominations were coming out at 9am for some reason, so when I reached over to turn off the alarm on my phone, my brother and some friends had texted me congratulations, so I knew. That was an awesome way to wake up. I’m still kind of dazed. My fellow nominee boyfriend [Bobby Cannavale, The Motherf**er With the Hat] and I were like, ‘we have to put our phones down for one second,’ so we took a moment and raised a cup of coffee. Now we’re both darting off to make phone calls. I’m really excited to share this whole season with him. I’m excited to perform at the Tonys and to find a really pretty dress! It’s our glam night for Broadway. We're gonna have fun.”
